Welcome back to Weird Wednesdays.

If Episode 2 was about what fear feels like, this one is about what it sounds like.

Or maybe… what it does to sound.

This week, I was joined by Marco, our Audio Director. He said sound is different because it reaches you before you can think. You feel it before you understand it.

Marco’s way of working is unlike anything I’ve seen. He doesn’t just capture sound, he hunts it. He shared with me that to make fear believable, you have to keep a trace of humanity in it. Just enough for your brain to recognize something familiar… before realizing it isn’t human anymore.

Out there, under the October supermoon, he was hoping to capture something more than just birds and wind.
